About Us And How We Are Different From the Competition
Hi there! Great to meet you. Let’s get acquainted. We’re not all sunshine and rainbows – we’ve got some strong principles. Here’s what we’re about:
Why “Other Planet,” anyway?
We aspire to be different from other designers and photographers who work with small to medium-size brands. We’re on a mission against bad design. Many creators churn out poor work due to lack of knowledge, client pressure, or prioritizing speed over quality. The result? A world saturated with subpar design, and we’re committed to changing that.
We envision another world where brands have enough self-respect to invest in good design. Don’t mistake us for dreamers, though. We’re firmly grounded in reality. The statistics speak for themselves: investing in good design pays off. Your products WILL sell better with quality visual representation. We invite you to invest in good design. If not (why not?) for better sales, then do it out of respect for your brand and your customers.
Other Planet in Numbers:
* Based on data from our clients’ Amazon listings. We compared performance before (with content from other suppliers) and after (with our new content).
Who’s doing the heavy lifting?
A team of talented professionals. No tricks or know-hows. Our work is good only because we invest many hours of top-notch pros’ work.
Yes, we're not in the U.S.
But we’re either better or more cost-effective than your local studio. Usually both.
Outsourcing means better quality, less hassle, and lower cost for a premium service. Unlike U.S. providers, we’re committed to impressing with outstanding service and results. Shipping to our studio in Israel takes just a few days from anywhere in the world, and the entire project can be managed 100% online. Experience our seamless process, approved by 500+ brands from 11 countries. And get results you’ll love.
Our Principles
1
Taking full care of projects
We handle projects comprehensively from coming up with creative ideas to producing stunning content for e-commerce. We don’t settle on mediocre and won’t accept orders for “quick-and-dirty” work.
That’s what our clients appreciate about us. We’re a team of dedicated in-house specialists of diverse skills. So you won’t need to micromanage us or invest too much of your time in building and implementing a content strategy. Let us take care of it.
2
Defending our work
We argue with clients if we disagree. It’s a badass approach, but it pays off: we insist on solutions we offer because we’re sure that they’re good for our clients’ business. We don’t do as we’re told: we’re here to meet our clients’ business needs.
Sure, it’s our clients who pay us, but it doesn’t make them “always right.” After all, it’s us who spend our non-renewable time on our clients’ success as we create custom content for each of them. We expect our clients to respect and trust our opinions in return.
3
Applying technologies and methodologies to organize the chaos
Agile
Agile is a way of working that focuses on learning through doing and adjusting as you go. Instead of sticking to a fixed plan, Agile encourages us to test, learn, and adapt based on what works best in the real world, rather than sticking to opinions or outdated conventions.
The goal is to deliver value to the customer early and often rather than waiting to create something “perfect” before showing results.
Example: If we have data showing that a certain design layout boosts sales on Amazon, we prioritize that approach—even if a customer prefers a different design based on personal taste.
Lean
LEAN is about delivering exactly what the customer needs without wasting time or resources on things they don’t use. It’s about simplifying the process, cutting out unnecessary steps, and focusing on what brings the most value.
In an essence it means that we will not offer you things that you don’t need just so we can charge extra for unnecessary work.
Example: We don’t deliver 100-page brand books because, in most cases, customers don’t need them and never really use them.
Six Sigma
Six Sigma is a method we use to improve the quality of our processes by reducing mistakes or defects.
It’s like having a super-focused goal to make things work better, faster, and more efficiently, with fewer errors. The idea is to measure how often problems happen, find out why they happen, and then fix them so they happen much less, or not at all.
Example: In 2022, we introduced a triple internal QA system, where images and graphics are checked by the designer, then the designer’s team lead, and finally the creative director. This significantly reduced the number of revisions.
4
Evolving (Kaizen)
Kaizen is the idea of continuous improvement. It means we’re always working to raise the quality of our services, little by little, over time. As we improve, we bring more value to our clients, helping them achieve better results. Yes, our prices may go up as we get better, but we make sure the return on investment (ROI) remains high for our clients.
We expect our clients to grow with us. As their businesses get bigger and more complex, we can offer even more advanced services. This ongoing evolution is what sets us apart, creating a partnership where both sides benefit and improve together.
Example: Since 2020, we’ve raised the prices for our core services for Amazon sellers a few times. However, as the quality of our images and graphics has continuously improved, outperforming the overall industry standard, our clients have seen a significant boost in their conversion rates. This ongoing enhancement in quality has justified the price increases while delivering a strong return on investment for our clients.
